    Flight Path at the Exeter Public Library The Exeter Public Library won a grant from Spark of Science @ My Library for Flight Path! This grant allows the library the opportunity to educate the community on local birds, and to inspire scientific curiosity. Birds seen by the community! The Exeter Public Library’s Bird Watch Bingo allows for you to be on the lookout for birds all around you, and learn how to identify them. Pick up the bingo at either the children's service desk, or the adult circulation desk in the library. Turn in the bingo sheet with 1 row, column, or diagonal completed for your name to be entered in our raffle once, or turn in the sheet with a full blackout to have your name entered 3 times! The Exeter Public Library’s Flight Path raffle will be drawn at our first event on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Window Safety and Nesting Materials Saturday, March 14 @ 11 AM Children's DIY Window Decals Our DIY Window Decal activity allows you to design your own window decals, inspired by local birds, and apply them to a window to help reduce bird collisions. Either take it home, or leave it at the library for our window display! Teen and Adult DIY Nesting Balls In collaboration with Exeter's Conservation and Sustainability Planner Learn how to make DIY Nesting Balls for birds to gather safe nesting materials from in your yard! This program will go over what materials are safe to use in DIY Nesting Balls, and will provide all that is needed! World Migratory Bird Day Monday, May 4 - Saturday, May 9 The Exeter Public Library is celebrating World Migratory Bird Day for the entire week of May 4-9! Visit the Children’s Room to take a look at the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve’s Osprey Cam to hopefully see Osprey young being raised! Find it here: Great Bay Osprey Cam Window Safety and Nesting Materials Saturday, October 10 @ 11 AM Children's Winter Coat Craft A craft activity with gluing down paper feathers that showcases how a birds winter coat works! Help the Black-Capped Chickadee fluff its feathers in preparation for the cold. Teen and Adult DIY Bird Seed Ornaments Join the library in making bird seed ornaments to help prepare our feathered friends for the cold coming our way! Attendees will be given a pre-made ornament to take home to hang up, as well as a to-go craft bag to make more!

NHSL is creating a set of videos that can give everyone an idea as to what our drivers do for us every day. Follow One Book as it is picked up in Littleton, travels to the State Library to be sorted and sent to Bartlett, with some stops in between.This video was made through several librarians’ and drivers’ videos and photos from around the state. Wayback Machine The Wayback Machine is an incredible digital time machine, created by the Internet Archive, that lets you travel back in time to see what websites looked like in the past. It's like flipping through the archives of the internet. You can type in a URL and see snapshots of the site from different points in time. It's super useful for research, nostalgia, or even just to see how much the web has evolved over the years. Link to a HOW TO video. Laptops for Use in the Library Laptop Checkout Policy Internet Access Policy The library has 10 laptops you can checkout in-house. Please read the Internet Access Policy and the Laptop Checkout Policy for information before checking out a laptop. Patrons may use our laptops to browse the internet, send and read email, check their Facebook account, research and apply for jobs, create and print letters and documents, and many other tasks. Patrons are advised to delete any files they save to the computers to maintain their privacy. Most thumb drives may be used to save your work on the laptop. WiFi at the library The library supplies Wifi for patrons who bring their own devices to the library. There is a password required to connect to the library's Wifi. It is posted throughout the library. The staff is also there to assist you. Printing at the library Patrons can print from the library's public internet laptops or from their own devices. The library has 3 printers; two in Adult Services and one in the Children's Room: Black and white prints cost 25 cents, color prints cost 75 cents. Cash or check are accepted. No Credit cards please! Pay at the Information desk. Adult Services Printers - one HP that prints in black and white, and a Brothers printer for color, scanning, and emailing documents. Faxing documents is not applicable, but we can assist you with changing a document into a PDF to email out. Children's Room Printer - HP color printer can print in black and white and color
