The Friends of The Exeter Public Library is separate, non-profit community support group for the library. We assist the library by hosting fund raising events and by accepting donations on behalf of the library. Our members also provide a volunteer pool to the library to help with library events and to perform special projects such as maintaining the gardens adjacent to the library building and providing school supplies for the teen room.

We have a large mailing list and a small number of active members. There are volunteer roles for members that entail as llittle or as much time as the member is able to give.

NEXT MEETING:

Quick Reminder: Our next meeting will be on August 19 @ 6:30 PM.
Thanks to all who participated for the Independence Festival. Our table was quite busy, especially the first few hours of the festival and it seemed like every child I saw walking around was wearing one of "our" headbands! Having a table at this important Exeter event helps promote the library and provide information about upcoming library programs.
==============
Meanwhile, in the Children's Library,

Mr. Aaron's music show will be on Wednesday August 13 at 10 am.
