Adult Summer Reading is back! The theme is Books You've Been Meaning to Read and is open to folks 17 and up. The event will occur from July 6 to August 14.

In June, patrons filled out a form and shared the books they were meaning to read. The most popular suggestions are featured in the 2021 Adult Summer Reading Challenge.

Starting July 6, participants can get a reading list of the top books suggested. As you work your way through the titles earn prizes to recognize your accomplishments! Here is the reading list

Staff Picks

Once again our Adult Summer Reading Program will include the ever-popular Staff Picks display in Adult Services. Our favorite books will be on the display with identifying bookmarks in them just waiting to be checked out! New to the program this year, any time a patron checks out a book from the display, they may choose a sweet treat for themselves at the Information Desk! The start date this year is July 6 and it will run until August 17. Also back this year we will have our Weekly Drawing for patrons and staff, with a chance to win some fun prizes! For the patron drawing, all they need to do is fill out a slip with name and contact info, then drop it into the jar provided every time they check out. You could be a winner!
