The History room includes resources on Exeter history and the surrounding seacoast cities and towns. Stop by or contact us to get started on your search for information about your home, the town, or genealogy.

Most of the online resources can be used at home with a user name and password. Help is available by emailing or contacting us.

  • The Microfilm Inventory contains archived newspapers and reports dating back to the 1800's. At this time, some of the Microfilm is off-site being digitalized.
