Summer Reading Programs 2021
Adult Summer Reading
Adult Summer Reading is all new this year! The theme is Books You've Been Meaning to Read and is open to folks 17 and up. The event will occur from July 6 to August 14.
Starting in June, share the books you've been meaning to read with this form, at the library or by email to email@example.com. Your suggestions may be featured in the 2021 Adult Summer Reading Challenge.
Then starting July 6, participants can get a reading list of the top books suggested. As you work your way through the titles earn prizes to recognize your accomplishments!
Join in the fun all summer long for games, prizes, programs, and more with the Adult Summer Reading Program. Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 603-772-3101.
Teen Summer Reading
This year's program is a hybrid of grab-and-go activities that can be completed at home, and in-person programs. The fun begins on July 6th, and ends with our finale on August 12th.
Book & Activity Packets
Pick up a free book to keep and an accompanying activity packet from the Information Desk on the main level, beginning July 6th and continuing throughout the summer!
Children's Room Summer Reading
Summer Reading is here! Our theme this year is Tails & Tales: The Tortoise and the Guinea Pig.
There are two programs available. Children ages 3 & up can choose a weekly reading goal to record on their reading log. Every week they complete their goal they will receive a fun prize! Alternatively, children in 4th and 5th grade can participate in Book Blast. They will receive a book and complete fun activities both at-home and in-person.
Sign-ups for both programs begin Tuesday, July 6th.
