Flight Path at the Exeter Public Library The Exeter Public Library won a grant from Spark of Science @ My Library for Flight Path! Exeter Public Library has created, as part of the Nancy Carnegie Merrill Historical Room, a new Digital Conversion Center with machines able to convert analog film, audio, and photos to digital content. Digital Preservation Center Do you have a box of old film reels, slides, photos, CDs, VHS, camcorder tapes, and DVDs? Wonder what's on that strip of negatives you found at the bottom of a draw? The source data can be from VHS, Hi8, and camcorder players, retro gaming systems, cassette players, turntables, and more. Epsom FastFoto FF-680W Wireless This device will let you view and scan printed photos to a digital format. It is wireless and very speedy. The photos you scan can be up to seven inches (7") wide, and of any length. Magnasonic Super 8/8mm Reels Film Scanner This device will let you convert film reels to a digital format. The source footage can be from either 8mm or Super 8mm film reels. The digitized footage records onto an SD card. This device can also be used to view film. Sharper Image Rapid Photo Album Scanner This scanner allows you to digitize photos, slides, and 35mm negatives. You can automatically or manually edit the exposure and RGB color to bring faded images back to life. Can be connected to a computer. MYPIN Cassette Tape Converter This device will let you transfer cassette tapes to a USB stick in MP3 format. It can also be used to listen to cassette tapes out loud or with headphones. Canon Microfilm Scanner 400 This device will let you view and make copies of microfilm files. This includes the Library's collection of the Exeter News-Letter. Bluetooth Turntable Player This turntable will let you play 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM vinyl records. It has a built-in speaker or can be wirelessly paired to speakers or headphones using Bluetooth. CD/DVD External Drive This device will let you record data onto or read data from CDs or DVDs. It connects to a computer using a USB cable and works as though it were built into the computer.
