A divorced, unemployed father in Brooklyn, played by Ben Stiller, takes a night security guard job at the American Museum of Natural History. During the night, this museum is anything but normal. Years later, this dad has been promoted to Head of Museum Operations. Now thieves are pillaging the museum for its valuable exhibits.
