About the Event

Exeter Public Library will host a Library Watch Party for the National Book Festival which will be live-streamed by the Library of Congress. Stop by the library on Saturday, September 3 from 10 AM - 12:30 PM to watch. At 10 AM listen to actor Nick Offerman discuss his book Where the Deer and the Antelope Play and his love of the American landscape and conserving it. The program is moderated by National Park Service ranger Millie Jimenez. Starting at 11:30, listen to singer-songwriter, writer and actor Janelle Monáe as she discusses her book, The Memory Librarian, which brings an Afrofuturistic world exploring future possibilities of memory and time.
