On Tuesday, September 28 at 6:30 PM, the Exeter Public Library hosts Colin Woodard, New York Times bestselling historian and journalist, to discuss his newest book Union: The Struggle to Forge the Story of United States Nationhood. Come hear of the struggle to create a national myth for the United States. Woodard tells the story of the genesis and epic confrontations between the visions of America’s path and purpose through the lives of the key figures who created them. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Borrow the book from the library before the event to learn more.
