ü A perimeter induction loop allows users of telecoilin their personal hearing devices (hearing aids and cochlear implants) to receive all microphoned audio directly, alleviating distance and background noise as barriers to understanding a speaker.
ü BOSE speakers throughout the ceiling make every seat a good one.
ü Projection of Automatically Generated Captioning provides real-time captioning of every word over the microphone system.
ü Bluetooth connectivity allows presentation of any media through the microphone system
Stop by either date to learn how you can engage fully in meetings and presentations once more despite a hearing loss. For those without personal devices, a receiver with headset will be available.
ALDA is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that exists to provide support, advocacy, and outreach for Late-Deafened, Deaf, and Hard of Hearing, as well as their families. Our community is here to share unique experiences, challenges, and coping strategies. We are all in this together! Come meet members of your community who already enjoy this technology!
