A young artist who has endured personal tragedy, finds herself in a small Central American village taking refuge in a beautiful but decaying lakefront hotel called La Llorona. As she restores the hotel and integrates into the community, Irene embarks on a journey of healing, and self-discovery.

The Adult Morning Book Group is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, May 21st, from 10 - 11:30 AM. The selected book is "The Bird Hotel" by Joyce Maynard.
