Reserving Books

IMPORTANT: Please... do not come into the library for the book as soon as you reserve it online. We will call you when it is available for you. Even though the computer says the book is available, it might be on the Reserve Shelf waiting for another patron. If you really need the book quickly, it is best to call the library at 772-3101 and we will let you know immediately if it is available.

Directions:

1. On the Exeter Public Library website, go to CATALOG.
2. Do a search and find the book.
3. At the Search Results screen, click on Copies on the right side of the screen next to the book you want to reserve.
4. Click Reserve on the right side of the screen next to the book you want to reserve.
5. Enter your library card barcode number and your last name. Click OK.
6. A screen will come up with your name and the title of the book. If those are correct, click Reserve at the bottom of left side of the screen.
7. It will tell you if the book is available. You will have to click OK to place the book on reserve.
8. A box will come up saying that the book was placed on reserve. Click OK again.
