Getting a library card at the Exeter Public Library
For Exeter residents:
Your library card is FREE.
Come into the library with some proof that you live in Exeter. Examples are a NH license, lease agreement,
or mail with your Exeter address printed on it. We might also ask for a picture ID.
You will be asked to fill out a brief registration card and we will type up your new card.
For nonresidents who own land in Exeter:
Same as above but you must show proof that you own real estate in Exeter. This would be a copy
of the tax records for your property, which will include the Exeter address of the property.
For nonresidents:
Nonresidents must pay $70 a year per family to be members of the library. (Residents pay to use the
library in their taxes.)
We will ask for an ID, you will fill out a brief registration and we will type up your new card.
For additional information, please call the library at 772-3101.
